A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, May 27, 2022 in St. Anthony of Padua Church for Ralph Anthony Perline, 82 who passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022 in St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Ralph was born in Youngstown on March 18, 1940, a son of Anthony and Marie Orlando Perline. He was raised on the Eastside and graduated from East High School. After graduation, he served in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam War Era. On October 16, 1965 he married the love of his life, the former Shirley “Jeana” Vivolo Perline in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Niles. Ralph was the owner/operator of Perline Paving from 1988 to 2003 when his son took it over and it became the T.J. Perline Asphalt Company. He and his wife travelled to many different places and together they saw Pope John Paul II on three different occasions. Ralph enjoyed cars, working on them and attending car shows but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He leaves his wife, Jeana; his son, Todd Joseph Perline; his daughter, Jenna Leigh (Ryan) Nightingale; his grandchildren, Olivia Grace Perline and Louis Michael, Vincent Anthony, and Jenavie Grace Nightingale; his sister, Roseanne DeSiato; his brothers, Anthony and Gary Perline; his sister-in-law, Marie Ezzo; and many nieces and nephews. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; his in laws, Frank and Grace Vivolo; and his sister, Patricia Rondinelli. Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the mass in the church.
