Ruth Ann (Redmond) Maro, 73, of Liberty, passed away June 15, 2022 at her home.
Ruth was born August 10, 1948 in Warren, OH to Mary and Frank Redmond. She married Joseph Maro on August 1, 1970, sharing 51 years of marriage.
After graduation from Howland High School in 1966, Ruth worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington, D.C. Moving back to this area, she was employed by General Electric, then became executive assistant at Coplin Printing and then RL Smith Printing until her retirement in 2011.
Ruth looked forward to yearly family reunions. She loved to read and travel with family and friends. Family meant a great deal to Ruth. The title of wife, sister, aunt and friend filled her with pride and she fulfilled those roles with love and kindness. She always looked for the best in people. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Ernest Rek, Michael Hegler and Paul Redmond.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Joseph, her sister Jean (John) Sandberg of Canfield, brothers Frank (Patricia) Redmond of Niles and Raymond (Sue) Redmond of Warren, sister Louise (Dennis) Shevel of Boardman, sister-in-law Donna (Edward) Hecker of Cortland and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
