Rest in peace sweet lady. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of me and Millie in her kitchen on Davis Street. She was always cheerful and always ready to share her recipes with a little girl from Dearborn Street. I still make her Christmas Wreath Cookies and the recipe is filed under "Millie's Christmas Cookies." It sounds like she was surrounded by loving family all the days if her life, which is a great blessing. Thank you all for loving her the way I did as a kid.
